Currently Listening To: Western Scene

Do you know the band Western Scene?   I didn’t until just today, but was pretty hooked after hearing the stellar song “See What You Want To”.  Western Scene in an Echo Park, CA based band who bonded over an “appreciation for organically blending traditional folk and garage rock sounds with electronic undertones”.  The group first came on to the scene with their first single “Listening”, but the song below seems to be the band at its finest so far.  The group is currently recording an EP with producer Hugo Nicolson (Primal Scream/Radiohead) at their home studio in Beachwood Canyon, and is due it in Fall 2014.
