You know when there’s a new Day Wave track, I’ll post it here as soon as I can.  It’s become a no brainer.  Take a listen to his newest called “Headcase” from an EP of the same name.

Since the fall of last year, Oakland’s Jackson Phillips has accomplished a ton.  Now he’s Zane Lowe approved, charting at radio, he hit #1 Artist and Top 10 Track on Hype Machine, he debuted on the Spotify Viral U.S. 50 Chart in the Top 10, charted on the Sirius Alt Nation Alt 18, and cracked 1.5 million SoundCloud streams.  All this with just the 5 songs on the Headcase EP, released online periodically, steadily building a buzz and finding new audiences.
