New Music From Freelance Whales
Queens indie rockers Freelance Whales are back with new music from their upcoming sophomore release Diluvia; the new LP to be issued October 9 through Mom + Pop Music/Frenchkiss. After a successful couple of years supporting their 2010 debut Weathervanes, the band took a year to write the songs, which they took to producer Shane Stoneback (Vampire Weekend, Sleigh Bells, Cults) at his New York studio. Currently, there’s no tracklist yet, but the song cycle “adds more electronics to the banjo-utilizing band’s repertoire” with “more aggressive rhythm.”
