#Trending: Will Joseph Cook, Misun, Holychild

Tough to cut down the Hype Machine Top 50 to just a few key tracks.  Here’s what made the short list.

Burgeoning UK songwriter Will Joseph Cook has a new song online, “Daisy Chains”, part of his new EP release “You Jump I Run”.  Think I’m more a fan of “Message“, but this one definitely was worth putting here.

EMBRZ is the project of Jack Casey, who’s name might ring a bell if you’re searching soundcloud for Ellie Goulding and The 1975 remixes.  Here’s an original, with vocal help via Amy Rose. Check out “Silent”.

Baltimore-based trio Misun have a new single called “After Me”, the lead single from their forthcoming EP, Feel Better.

Glassnote really has their finger on the pulse of great new music, evidenced again by the news of their upcoming release of Holychild‘s oddly titled The Shape of Brat Pop to Come (out June 2nd).  Check out a track from the album, “Money All Around”.

Finally, I’ve covered everything so far from vocal talent Rebecca Clements, so why stop now?  Here’s her doing a Cure cover of “Boys Don’t Cry”.
