I really love this new video for “Throw Us to the Wolves” by Danish sextet Alcoholic Faith Mission off their Ask Me This LP, out now with Old Flame Records. The performance piece was directed by Mads Find, who filmed the acrobatic duo from circus Tin Can Company.

The band will be returning to North America for a spring tour following years of sold-out European sets and appearances at Reykjavík‘s Iceland Airwaves, SXSW, CMW, and CMJ.

Thanks to Paper Garden Records for pointing out these great videos of Danish indie band Alcoholic Faith Mission performing on a series called Off The Record, a Finland-based site for bands performing acoustically. I missed the band twice this past weekend at CMW, the 2nd time was close, I arrived at the Dakota minutes late but just in time to hear my friends tell me I missed an amazing set! Here’s the first single from Danish sextet Alcoholic Faith Mission off their forthcoming EP titled And the Running with Insanity. The EP follows the group’s recent tour of sold out shows last year throughout Europe, which propelled Alcoholic Faith Mission to return to the US on tour this year, after becoming one of the stand out acts of CMJ ’10. The band will also hit the Under the Snow Festival inMontreal on March 10th and the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on March 15th, as well as dates at CMW and SXSW.
