Arthur Beatrice – “Grand Union”

We’re so greedy here, foot-tapping as the days roll on for Arthur Beatrice to release another single after Carter – but now! ’tis a grand re-union once again! The band have now officially revealed that they have finished their debut album and will release it early next year. Swooping in quite charmingly, lead singer Orlando’s voice is immediately complemented by the crystal clear production of the track. It has a pace that feels unobtrusive by co-existing within two realms; reflective and commanding.

Ella Girardot, the lead singer for London based foursome Arthur Beatrice, confidently showcases her distinct operatic tone by woo’ing me throughout their new single Carter (off their soon to be released EP July 22nd). Likened to the vocal coo’s of Hayden Thorpe from the band Wild Beasts, the song starts off bubbling energetically with some super juicy drum beats only to be softened by her dramatically rich overlay of lyrics that boost my expectations for their EP.
