Colorado-based psychedelic pop outfit Candy Claws are set to release their fourth album, “Ceres & Calypso in The Deep Time”, on June 26 via twosyllable records. Going a bit quiet after their 2010 release “Hidden Lands”, the group has released their first single off of the album, “Transitional Bird (Clever Girl).”
Candy Claws have made their name by writing uniquely-terrestrial dream pop with often geographical subject matter. If this track is any indication, the group are continuing this trend, but with a circus-like spin into the magnificent.
