Following a sold-out show at Montreal’s Club Soda last Friday, Geoffroy now delivers a brand new song, Wanderer, which is available on all digital platforms via Bonsound. Produced by Tim ”Heartfelt” Buron from Cult Nation’s collective New Gospel (Charlotte Cardin, Nate Husser), the single touches on Geoffroy’s need to embrace the unexpected, and expresses a joie de vivre and a thirst for escape. “I’ve been travelling a lot recently and it has reminded me how important it is to live fully, to break free from routine and comfort”, explains the artist.

VIDEO: “Sleeping On My Own” by Geoffroy

Montreal-based singer-songwriter Geoffroy kicks off the new year in full force as he unveils a video for the song “Sleeping on my Own”, off his debut album ‘Coastline’ which is set to be released on March 10th via Bonsound. This album follows-up his 2015 EP ‘Soaked in Gold’.

Last November, director Didier Charette (Romeo & Fils), Geoffroy, and DOP Guillaume Beaudoin flew to Mexico to shoot the video. In just one week, they crossed the state of Oaxaca, passing through the mountain town of San José del Pacifico as well as other villages, until they reached San Agustinillo on the coast. During their adventures, they experienced a temazcal, which is an ancient, local, spiritual tradition in which participants purify the body with medicinal plants.
