Say hi to Say Hi, formerly Say Hi To Your Mom.
Founded in Brooklyn in 2002, Say Hi is mainly the work of one songwriter, Eric Elbogen and since the beginning, his records have come out on his own label Euphobia Records. The music is one of those fine mixtures of synths and washy guitars accentuated with sweet melodies. The band has shared the stage with a ton of great bands including Pinback, Headphones, the Long Winters, American Analog Set and Bishop Allen. And some trivia for you? Elbogen means ‘Elbow’ in German.
Their latest release (their 5th) is called The Wishes And The Glitch recorded mainly in Elbogen’s home studio.
