los encantados

Thanks Jana for the tip.  Los Encantados are a six-piece Brooklyn band influenced by the likes of T. Rex, Television and the Beach Boys, which you can hear in their music.  Their album, The Same Damned Soul, is a true story and took place over the summer of 2010 in France and New York and then France again. This first chapter of this “summer love trilogy” came out in March, the other 2/3rds will be released throughout this summer of 2012.  I’ll keep you up to speed when I hear more.
