To this day, Robbers & Cowards are not Lost That Easy with me, as I still regularly re-visit and re-play it.  But, the latest Cold War Kids album with what is one of my most favoured album titles of the year – ‘Dear Miss Lonelyhearts’ is proving to stand firmly on its own.

In this video for ‘Lost That Easy’, Vern Moen wanted it to be based on Henri-George Clouzot’s horror film; ‘Calle L’enfer’ – circa the 60’s. What with the dark palette and haunting set of blended shadows, I fear it does the trick and creates a camaraderie fitting to the song.
