Love Me Like I’m Not Made Of Stone

So much hype has been created around Lykke Li‘s new album I Never Learn that this is probably old news for most of you, but it’s still worth mentioning just because it’s so good.  The Swedish artist claims that she never learns, but I say she doesn’t need to.  She’s nailing it as it is, and her move from pop to this deeper, more introspective kind of work is a very assertive manifestation of her capacity to grow and evolve.

In less than a week, Lykke Li released two new videos: “I Never Learn”, a trailer for the album which will see the light of day in the beginning of May, and “Love Me Like I’m Not Made Of Stone”, a beautiful yet incredibly tormented power ballad in which deep sadness and helplessness take the form of a heartfelt cry for help.

You should not miss this.  Unless you are severely depressed.
