Natalie McCool is a British singer-songwriter who understands that feeling better than you’d expect.

There is serious emotional and musical maturity in “Pins”. The lyrics promise ‘I know what it feels like to be hurt, I know what it feels like to have cracks in the surface.’ And Natalie really does. Her delicate velvety voice, coupled with soft electronics and incredible spirals of feeling and melody, turn out to be the beautifully dark yet comforting kind of alt-pop that you need on a rainy day.
