While checking out some myspace pages today, I found this band streaming on a fans site. Check out The Dodos.

Cool two piece from San Francisco. To date this duo (Meric Long, Logan Kroeber) have completed an EP (Dodo Bird in March of 2006) and a full-length (Beware of the Maniacs, Dec. 06). The music keeps it simple, never really more than a couple guitars tracks dancing in-front of thumping drums. Thoughtful lyics in some of these really catchy songs. And a drummer that plays while standing up.
