Now, Now are thrilled to share their new music video for “Yours”. Directed by Alexa San Román, frontwoman KC Dalager shares that “the video embodies the exact emotions I was experiencing while we were writing this song. Feelings of longing, devotion, and persistence. The energy of falling in love and being in love.”
“Yours” is the second single the Minneapolis-based duo have released this year (the first being “SGL”), which has the band exhibiting a growing mastery of their craft in production and songwriting as they expand upon the sonic palate displayed on their breakout album Threads. The band toured throughout the US over the summer and fall, including stops in LA, New York, and San Francisco, and will head across the pond for their last show of 2017, playing to a sold-out crowd in London on November 10th.
Now, Now have just announced the release of their sophomore full-length album Threads, due out March 6th 2012 (via Chris Walla’s Trans- Records label). Produced by Howard Redekopp (Tegan and Sara, An Horse, New Pornographers), Threads comes 3 years after their last full-length (Cars) and will be one to watch for in 2012.
Look for the band to tour the US extensively, including stops at SXSW and summer festivals along the way. Take a listen to this first track “Dead Oaks”.
