Palace Winter are Danish producer Caspar Hesselager and Australian country singer Carl Coleman.  The collaboration was born while sharing a tour bus together for six weeks around Denmark in the Winter/Spring of 2013 when Carl was opening for The Rumour Said Fire in which Caspar was playing synths.  They entered the studio in March 2014 with a goal to fuse each others sounds; Caspar’s synth-pop playfulness and wide-screen production vs Carl’s atmospheric vocals & traditional singer-songwriter background.
