Youth Is Wasted On The Young

Its been quite a while since I’ve been able to bring you anything new from Montreal’s Young Galaxy, but today I have a new track. Check out “Youth Is Wasted On The Young”, from a 7″ thats coming out next week via Paper Bag Records. Compared to their last record, this sounds a further away from that Lissvik sound, closer to the sounds of the Smiths.

EXCLUSIVE Video: “Lines” by Elliott Brood (Paper Bag Sessions)

Indie Music Filter and Paper Bag Records have teamed up to bring you some exclusive content from the great lineup of bands on their roster. First up is the exclusive video of Elliott Brood performing the song “Lines” for The Paper Bag Sessions, off their album “Days Into Years”. This video (below) has the band performing in what looks to be the backroom of an antique store, live off the floor.

I’ve got five 7”s for giveaway of Elliott Broods’ new Northern Companion EP featuring “Northern Air” and “Banjo Song”, (not on the full-length album).
