Michael Rault is a 20 year-old Edmonton native with a thing for old-time records. Channeling 50?s culture through his Beach Boys-meets-Black Lips sound, check out his album (MA-ME-O); a raucous, retro party record that burns with an energy ignited half a century ago by the surf, sockhop and the show-stopping tunes of Little Walter, Lee Dorsey and Bo Diddley. It just came out on Pirates Blend Records last month, look for him touring Canada with Bedouin Soundclash and Charlie Winston.
