I’m loving this new tune from Rationale.
“Prodigal Son” showcases his vocal depths over an electro-infused track. The Zimbabwe-born, London-based artist is channelling his early influences on these new songs; the sounds his mother introduced him to via her eclectic record collection. These early influences are reflected in Rationale’s stylistically diverse discography, and will doubtless be expanded upon in his debut full-length project, out early next year.
Of “Prodigal Son”, Rationale says, “I think the subject matter is very relatable yet oddly personal. If anything, I hope it will strike a chord with people who may have been through similar awakening of the mind.“
