“Signs of the Civilized” by Bravestation, from their upcoming debut album Giants & Dreamers. The video depicts rituals taking place in the guise of a bourgeois party and parallels some of the song’s underlying themes including the spiritual quest for eternal youth. It was co-directed by Derek Wilson (Bravestation) & Adrian Vieni (Wood & Wires Productions) & was funded by our supporters via Indiegogo.

I’ve got a feeling that this week will be a good one for new music. Why would I think that? Well, if this new track from Toronto band Bravestation is any indication of whats to come in the following days, I’m psyched. Take a listen to “Signs Of The Civilized” below (and download for your e-mail), which will act as a bridge to their upcoming album, to be released in the months to come. To the band, the song is “an adventurous and nomadic spiritual journey that captures elements of youthful optimism and a sense of tribal community”.
Its a bit toned down from their previous recordings, but these new musical instrumentations and influence are doing it for me, totally into it.
