I ran into Wes and Jason of The Darcys this past weekend while they were DJing an Rdio party in Toronto.  Since we’d actually never met before, I walked up and introduced myself as the guy who’s blog they took over.  We had a good chat about the music industry, their tour of schools and alternatives to Katy Perry.  One thing that didn’t come up was the news of their one-year anniversary of the release of their fantastic album Warring.   To celebrate, the Toronto band have put up the song “Ultra Violet” (a previously unreleased bonus track from the album) online and will head across Canada for a series of select performances (see below).
