Don’t really have too much time to post today, or in the next couple of days with TIFF already started. So here’s a post with a couple posts in it.

-Listening to British hype band The XX and their song Basic Space (from Fader). Its got me interested, but I think I’ll file it under subdued, chill. Check out their video for Crystalised on imf tv here.

-Check in with Daytrotter to hear new sessions from Canadian bands The Rural Alberta Advantage and Junior Boys.

-Watching some video sessions at What You See Is What You Get. New ones from The Most Serene Republic and One Eskimo. Think I was on this site last while settling my Frightened Rabbit fix, scroll down to watch some post toronto show acoustic street sessions.

-Finally, I keep coming back to Stereogum to hear the best new music. They’ve got a new Washed Out track called Belong, the new Rain Machine (TV On The Radio‘s Kyp Malone) song ‘Smiling Black Faces’ and a new track from Baroque Swedish sextet Fredrik (called ‘Locked In The Basement‘).
