Toronto indie-rockers, Wildlife, have returned from the depths of the Canadian wilderness with their first offering since the 2013 landmark album, On The Heart. On October 14th, the band will share their third full-length record, Age Of Everything, and fans can join the band that night for a special show celebrating the release in Toronto at the Drake Hotel.
Check out the first single, “2017”, for a taste.
Best Of June 2016
Barely keeping up here, but here’s what I managed to put together for the Best Of June.
Check out new music from Rationale, Gypsy & The Cat, Peter Bjorn and John along with IMF newcomers Krief and Maggie Rogers.
Well, that was two weeks off from the blog. I didn’t plan on leaving for so long, but real life took over in a big way. Feels good to be back.
Wildlife has returned from the depths of Canadian winter with their first offering since the 2013 landmark album On The Heart. “Dead Century” captures Wildlife‘s signature unrestrained live energy, with the added world-class sparkle courtesy of legendary producer Tawgs Salter. Frontman Dean Povinsky’s voice soars over the ebbs of guitar and bass, which give way to bombastic drums, proclaiming “it’s all been forgotten, this Dead Century”.
“Dead Century” is from the bands’ brand new full length album, due out late summer 2016.
