I’m feeling inspired here at the ADC Festival in Miami. Since arriving on Sunday, I’ve participated in all kinds of interesting workshops, I’ve heard and watched some great presentations about art and creativity and I’ve networked with some pretty amazing people from all around the world. I even built part of a Martin guitar today, check that off the list.
I disappeared up to my room to get this post online, as I’ve been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to tell you about Inky Jack. For fans of Ratatat meets TV on the Radio, this Brooklyn two-man madhouse take cues from rock, reggae, electronica and punk, creating a sound that’s intoxicating and unique. After releasing their self-titled EP last year, Dipesh Sinha and Kwame Bulter have been turning heads with their music. Freedom, their new single, continues to break ground, push boundaries and blur genres. It’s taken from their forthcoming EP, Infrared, due out later this year.
