VIDEO: “Coupons” by Satellite Stories

Satellite Stories returned last week with their brand new single ‘Coupons’, the first taste from what will be their fifth and final studio album, ‘Cut Out The Lights’. CLASH described it as “ridiculously infectious, with those gossamer synths rattling against an insistent, incessant guitar line.” and, today, the band reveal the video for the single.

Talking about the video, the band say; “The video was shot in one of our favorite places to make music, an awesome studio called SF Sounds in Finland, we wanted to go back their to shoot this and capture the energy in the recordings also in a fun live video.” The video was directed by Juho Länsiharju.

LISTEN: “Confetti” by Satellite Stories

Finland’s biggest and brightest indie band Satellite Stories are back with the brand new single “Confetti”.

“Confetti” was mixed by Grammy winning producer/engineer Fernando Lodeiro (Vampire Weekend, Regina Specktor) and is taken from the band´s upcoming 4th studio album entitled “Young Detectives” to be released March 24th.

The year is coming to a close and I’m sitting here looking back on another year of blogging; another year of so many great tunes.

It’s always a challenge to try and sum up your year in one playlist.  Here’s my best attempt, with my favourite songs of 2015 (via Soundcloud, Spotify, Youtube and new streaming site Playmoss).
