Clocks & Spears by Bravestation

Who: Bravestation from Toronto.

What: It was back in October when we mentioned Toronto band Bravestation and tipped the song ‘Southern Company’ to our readers. It seems like they’ve traded in that dark post-punk sound for a more rhythmic, upbeat tone, as evidenced by the feel to the new songs off the bands’ 2010 EP. Five songs that I’ve been sitting on way to long, but that will be spinning here all week. Too bad it took me so long to find what was right under my nose.

The band are set to release the EP this Saturday at the El Mocambo in Toronto, flyer below.
