Currently Listening To: FOXTROTT

You can call me FOXTROTT‘s newest fan, as I’m loving this tune from the Montreal-based producer and artist.  Already buzzing from play on BBC Radio 1 and wild performances this past month at POP Montreal and Riot Fest, FOXTROTT‘s “eccentric beats and immediately-identifiable sound” are front and center on the upcoming A Taller Us LP (set to hit via One Little Indian on November 20th).  Her musical palette draws inspiration from disparate points on a wide spectrum; from old Cumbia to gospel, from hip-hop to reggae, and from dancehall to singer/songwriters.
