Alright, we’re fessing up, you got us. We’ve lost count as to how many Oz-musicians we’ve featured in this space over the last few measly months. They are, seemingly getting better with every unveiling. Whilst still in studio recording his debut EP, New Zealand born Brady Daniell-Smith (who is currently based in Melbourne) has released the indie-folk single “The Dreamer”. Evocative of a lover/friends emotive lament that’s intended to will desires via repeating “It’s not about you anymore”, this track, coupled with the conviction of Ben Howard and the melodic trails of Fleet Foxes – is deliciously soothing. It heightens to a beautifully fitting close that gives a hint of what an acoustic live performance may feel like from this artist.
