worship

At the end of last year, Worship had finished up a successful run opening for bands like We Have Band and Pete & The Pirates, as well as recording a Live Session For BBC1 (Rob Da Bank). It seemed like good timing for the group to pack up and head to the studio in Norway, where they spent a month writing and recording at a small residential studio. New songs were DIY’d by the band; self written, recorded, produced and mixed. Moving forwardfrom the Thom Yorke sounding In Our Blood of last year, now you can get a taste of new material with the exclusive first listen to ‘Collateral’. The vocal work seems to still have a touch of The Eraser, but this time the accompaniment hits a lot harder. Heavy stuttering basslines and drums with eerie guitars paint a beautiful picture meant to be seem with headphones on, eyes closed and your head bobbing to that pulsing beat.
