Who: Papercuts from San Francisco.
What: Jason Quever’s ongoing pop investigations. This album ‘You Can Have What You Want‘ slowly drifts into ‘epic, hazy pop using mostly vintage organs, pulsing bass & Kraut-via-Ringo-inspired drum rhythms’. Recorded without using any computers (all analog!). How often does that happen these days? Think this record will be my soundtrack to summer vacation up on Balsam Lake.
Song: Check the original version on the videos site, here’s an interesting interpretation. Future Primitive (Ruby Suns remix).
