New Music From Jack Garratt, “Fire”

I am beyond excited to know that I’m going to see Jack Garratt perform next month when he stops in Toronto. Adding a little more “Fire” to the handful of tracks I’m already spinning the hell out of, Garratt today gives us one more taste of the upcoming release of Phase (out February 19th via Island/Interscope).

The massive and eclectic track has artist/producer Garratt “embrace the visceral side of his definitive sound, whilst simultaneously embracing his past. Harking back to his leftfield electronic roots, Garratt brings together layers of intense beats and synths, complex production and his typically outstanding vocals, culminating in his most raw, impactful song to date.”

Explaining his creative process behind the track, Jack detailed “Fire is supposed to show every insecurity and fear I’ve seen in myself and other people through noise.

Take a listen (but scroll down as well).
