Last Time

Moderat are a collaborative project in which Apparat (aka Sascha Ring) and Modeselektor (aka Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary) present evidence of the existence of a softer side to Berlin’s music scene.  I’ve been really excited about this project since its early days, but I couldn’t help but giggle and jump a bit when I saw that the trio had released a new video for ‘Last Time’.  The track is phenomenal – an EDM almost-ballad that makes you want to experience every bit of dubstep influence and emotion-infused vocals over and over.  Either by closing your eyes and putting your headphones on, or by driving at night to the rhythm of the track, as the video would likely suggest. It doesn’t matter how you do it – but please, please don’t let this one go unnoticed.
