LISTEN: “Dreams Tonite” by Alvvays

The sophomore album from Alvvays titled, Antisocialites is set for release on September 8th via Royal Mountain Records. Across its 10 tracks and 33 minutes, the Toronto-based group dive back into the deep end of reckless romance and altered dates.   After releasing the ear bender “In Undertow” last month, the band have today given us another crushingly catchy heartstring-tugger in, “Dreams Tonite.”

So morose for me, seeing ghosts of me, writing oaths to me,” sings Molly Rankin on the Cocteau-pop stunner – the song from which the album’s name is derived.”In fluorescent light, antisocialites watch a wilting flower.”
