Man Man

More commonly known as ‘Honus Honus’, indie rockers Man Man‘s front man spoke recently about their new record On Oni Pond.

This is a strange and beautiful record but it’s also head on and fearless. It’s not a record that’s going to flirt with you, this is a record that’s asking you out. If you get into bed with us there’s going to be a relationship.”

An even sweeter lament to these testaments is their song “Head On”, fully rife with a classic melody and bold finger-wagging advice that Honus Honus drives through telling his listener to “hold on to your heart, hold it high above flood waters”. Their new album was produced by Mike Mogis (notable for Bright Eyes and First Aid Kit production) and have a looksee at their black and white lyric video below. Yes, I’ve dived Head On!
