Mighty by Lord Huron

Who: Lord Huron from Los Angeles/Northern Michigan.

What: From a week spent in North Michigan visiting childhood retreats, LA’s Lord Huron (aka Ben S.) wrote his first EP (Into The Sun). Upon returning to LA, he formed a band of Michigan ex-pats and began spreading the gospel of ‘lush harmonies inspired by Calypso singers, folk traditions and the American frontier fuse with modern experimentation’. The second EP from Lord Huron is called Mighty and it’s out via Bandcamp as of today. Also, two of the songs from Into the Sun will be released on a 7″ via Hit City U.S.A. on November 16th.
