New Music From Phoria, “Melatonin”

There’s some weird timing going on these days.  Just as I wonder about a band that I’ve featured a lot in the past, I magically get their new music in my inbox.

Take a listen to a brand new tune from Brighton band Phoria, the intricately beautiful “Melatonin”.  Appropriately named after a hormone that anticipates the daily onset of darkness, this chemical compound adjusts the body’s circadian rhythms. “Somewhere between your dreams and your waking life is a path that you might not notice yourself following” is the band’s motif for the track, along with themes of subconscious time-travel.

Look for the single out next month, also part of the bands’ first full length album in 2016.
