Quiet Lights
The Brooklyn-based group Quiet Lights are set to release their The Big Fear EP, out on June 28th via Old Flame Records. In the meantime, you can download a track from the EP called “Engine Down”, which reminds me of a shoegazier version of The Joy Formidable with wall of sound guitars, intense builds and ethereal vocals. If you live in their city, be sure to head to their EP release show on Friday, June 24th at Littlefield in Brooklyn, or at their June 19th set at Public Assembly for the Northside Festival.
