Local Natives Serve Up Stems, Cover Television
Possible winners of the indie-band-having-the-best-year-in-2010 contest, Local Natives have launched a remix microsite, offering up stems to a couple of the hits off their hugely successful Gorilla Manor. Fans can download the stems of Wide Eyes, World News, Camera Talk and Who Knows Who Cares” and make their own remixes,conceivably remixing together parts of multiple different songs into one.
Suckers entered first with their version of Wide Eyes (check it out).
In other places on the old Internet, you can find the band covering Television‘s song ‘Careful‘ (via P4k), as part of Aquarium Drunkard’s L’Aventure Compilation.
