New From Savoir Adore
I’m surprised I found time to post today. Current status: running around LA taking meetings with music supervisors and enjoying beautiful weather.
Here’s the newest from Brooklyn’s Savoir Adore (Paul Hammer Deidre Muro) called “Dreamers”, with the bands’ signature distinct vocals, lush harmonies, and wild sonic palette. The duo spent the summer confined in the studio, writing and recording what will be their sophomore album to be released next year. In the meantime they will be releasing a limited edition 7″ on Neon Gold, where you can go to hear the track. Order the single here.
Look for them at CMJ, dates below.

ANR / “It’s Around You”
Miami group ANR are taking over my ears at the moment with the A-side to the “It’s Around You/Blood On Blood” 7″ (available via Neon Gold Records). For fans of bands like NewVillager and Yeasayer, a slow jam with a great horn-led outro.

‘Young Blood’ gets remixed
Take a quick trip over to Neon Gold Records where through a series of clicks you can download great remixes of my song of the summer ‘Young Blood‘ by The Naked and Famous. One’s from Sweden’s The Sounds Of Arrows, the other by Pink Ganter flipping the Passion Pit sounding track a little more towards The Knife.
Chromeo remixes Vampire Weekend, Bo Flex does Passion Pit
Found these while checking the blogs yesterday. Love’m both, what do you think?
The Kids Don’t Stand A Chance (Chromeo Remix) by Vampire Weekend. You might have to look a bit for it.
