Wow, I had a bit of a hard time getting this post down under 5 songs.  There’s lots of great new music out there today.  Take a listen to what made my cut, featuring brand new music from Half Moon Run, a HAIM remix of Tame Impala, a new Foals track, a Christine and the Queens remix and a brand new band called Amina.

Montreal-based quartet, Half Moon Run, have returned with news of a lush and expansive 13-track second album, “Sun Leads Me On”, set for release on October 23. “Trust” is our first listen to the record.

HAIM cover’s Tame Impala’s beautiful song “‘Cause I’m A Man”.

To follow up with title track “Mountain at My Gates”, Foals have premiered another track from their upcoming album, What Went Down.  Here’s “A Knife In The Ocean”.

Neon Gold put up this chill remix of “Tilted” by French band Christine And The Queens by Paradis.

Seattle artist Amina got in touch with me today with a track called “I Saw You Float Away”, off this year’s Cannibalize EP.
