You should always listening to your friends. If I had, I would have posted about this band months ago. So here I am, standing on the dock, having missed the boat on The Whitest Boy Alive.

A group based in Berlin, originally starting in 2003 as an electronic music project relying on samples, now a four-piece band with no programmed elements. They released their first full length (Dreams) in mid 2006.

Put this minimal pop stuff on a mixtape with Peter, Bjorn and John and Fujiya and Miyagi.? (***I realize that last sentence looks like I listed 5 international dudes, but its just two bands***).

The band hasn’t posted what I’m looking for, so you’re going to have to do the work. Look for Burning by The Whitest Boy Alive.
