LISTEN: “Illusion by Wildlife Control”

It’s been a couple years since hearing from Neil Shah of Wildlife Control, who reached out to me this week with new music.  The band is the “transcontinental creative lab” for him and his brother, drawing on the energies of San Francisco and New York City, blurring the lines between visual art, music, and technology. Their aesthetic combines sampled and synthesized sounds and visuals in an alchemical mixture that is best summarized by the final words of their debut release: it doesnʼt matter if sheʼs analog or digital.

The latest release is called Particles; an experimental short film and suite of music. It’s broken up into three movements/tracks, the first of which – “Illusion” – is available now.  Take a spin.

Plus here’s the album trailer.
