Currently Listening To: Andy Clockwise

I’m loving this new tune from Australian artist Andy Clockwise, the epic a “I’ve Arrived (The Good Book Pt. 1)”.  The song comes from The Good Book (out April 8th) and follows last year’s single (and Flight of The Conchords-ish) “Open Relationship” (featuring Stella from Warpaint).

Apparently, Clockwise’s live shows are an incredible party (LCD Soundsystem meets Nick Cave), which are garnering the now LA-based artist tons of fans in North America.  Previously touring with the likes of The Black Keys, Julian Casablancas and Warpaint, Cl0ckwise is currently ramping up to the release of his record as the special guest on a bunch of sold out shows with Dance Yourself Clean; a now touring “no frills dance party” started in Seattle, which also runs in Los Angeles and Portland.  Tour dates below, Toronto kids, note the date at Adelaide Hall.

The Good Book features numerous and diverse guests such as John Hawkes (Award winning character actor), Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint, Kurt Vile), John JT Thomas (Captain Beefheart, Sparks) and Holly Valance on the bonus track.
