LISTEN: “Lips” by Oyster Kids

I’m just listening to this new song from LA duo Oyster Kids and searching online for any more info/content/context on the band to include in this post. They still seem to be taking the mysterious approach, with very little online like an artist bio. I wonder at times how long a band can take that approach, don’t people want to know more about the bands behind the songs they love?

Well, one day we’ll know. Until then, take a listen to the single “Lips”, which follows their debut track “Creepy“.  Their first single went on to collect over 160k plays on soundcloud, plus was recognized by Urban Outfitters in one of their mixtapes.  We’ll see if “Lips” has the same legs, with it’s Goyte meets Foster The People groove.
