Back with more of their signature psych-folk, San Fran’s duo The Dodos are ready to release the Neko Case collaborated album No Color. Don’t Stop is a great intro to the record and fits with what I love to expect from the band, super quick guitar plucking and frenetic drums. Look for that one March 15th on Frenchkiss.

Another track from Swedishelectronic trio Fredrik, this being the first single off their forthcoming LP (Flora, out April 12th). “Rites of Spring” exposes the uncertainty of the season coloured by chilling build ups and warmed with Fredrik’s earthy vocals; consistent with the group’s adventurous layering of experimental folk and whimsical dream pop.

Having already made waves in Europe over last year, this side of the pond is just hearing about chamber folkist Agnes Obel. Born in Copenhagen and currently based in Berlin, Agnes’s release (Philharmonics) has already topped the charts in Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium and France, earning her sold-out shows across Europe. Now her album will be released over here onPIAS America and keep an eye out for her at SXSW.

St David’s Historic Sanctuary
Team Me firststarted turning heads after making the finals inNRK P3s (Norwegian National Radio) Best New Band/Song contest. Soon after, their songs ‘Fool’ and ‘Weathervanes and Chemicals’ hit the radio in Norway while they performed in 8 Norwegian festivals last summer. The band are now set torelease their first EP on April 4th in the UK, consisting of five songs recorded in Oslo and produced and mixed by by Tom McFall (REM, Bloc Party, Snow Patrol). Expect the full length album in the fall of 2011. Lucky UK fans will be able to catch them supporting British Sea Power and The Wombats.

The Raveonettes Sharin Foo and Sune Rose Wagner are getting ready to release their new album Raven In The Grave, out April 5th on Vice Records.
