I’ve got this song stuck in my head today, LA band Sego‘s incredibly catchy “Wicket Youth” (off their debut self-titled EP).
The band (comprised of duo Spencer P and Thomas C) approach their music like the duality of their personalities: “small-town boys living in the big city, equally drawn to both the cutting edge and the timeless, refusing to surrender flesh-and-blood humanity in an increasingly digitized and technologically driven world”. Like their bio says, I can already hear those intoxicating melodies & pulsating rhythms, plus I’m stoked to hear more.
Toronto kids, they’re at the Horseshoe this Tuesday (Nov. 18th).
