If I wasn’t travelling the north of Ireland with no WiFi last week, I would have immediately posted this new track from Toronto alt-pop duo Darcys.  “Miracle” is the first new music in two years and definitely heads in that new direction the band hinted at.

The bright, summery single was produced by recent Grammy and JUNO-Award winner Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, Julian Casablancas) and recorded at Red Bull Studios in Auckland, New Zealand.  The song has Jason Couse and Wes Marskell exploring their pop ambitions and drawing from long-standing influences like Prince, The Killers, MGMT and Chromeo.

“Miracle” will be available worldwide on Arts & Crafts on April 22. The band will play select shows in the first half of 2016 including their first live date in two years on May 25 at The Mod Club in Toronto for Red Bull Sound Select.

More dates to be announced.  Take a listen to “Miracle”.
