Since letting Blank, Blank, Blank sink further and further into my head, I’ve really grown to be a fan of Contrived. I find this record getting heard on saturday afternoons, subway commutes and quick trips down the street for a coffee. And If I was in Toronto this weekend, I’d be at their show. This label showcase also includes performances my Julie Fader, Brian Borcherdt and Off The International Radar. Solid.
