Here’s the second single off Gypsy & The Cat‘s upcoming album, an anthem for those longing for escape, “I Just Wanna Be Somebody Else”.  Following the success of last month’s highly playlisted single “Inside Your Mind”, this song has the Australian indie duo singing “Change my brain and take my heart out. Guess you’re doing fine without it.”

Boasting ARIA and Hype Machine charting singles, three songs in the triple j Hottest 100, plus international chart and touring feats in places like Germany, Denmark and Sweden; Gypsy & the Cat are definitely on a roll.  Let’s hope they keep sending us the singles as they ramp up to a full album.
