The e-mail recently I got told me that Mt. Wolf was back, although I didn’t know they had gone anywhere at all.  I actually didn’t know who this London band were at all, yet in my research, I seemed to have missed the boat completely on this heavily buzzed about London band that disappeared from the scene, right when they were just starting to get traction.  Returning with their dream-folk sound, the band have officially dusted off their soundcloud and put up “Red”.

The haunting lyric in the chorus (“I’m going away for a long time”) couldn’t help but remind me of Lord Huron’s “Ghost On The Shore”, that uses the same and somewhat similar feel.  Mashup anyone?
